How We Work

At Record all our employees are engaged in currency management or supporting the management business, and all of us understand the need to focus on clients' interests.  All of our employees, in one way or another, are involved in managing, implementing, reporting or supporting each of our client mandates.

Our focus on a thorough understanding of the opportunities and processes we seek to exploit, informed by our experience, makes us sceptical about the merits of outright discretionary management in developed market currency.  For that reason our background is largely in systematic management, with the investment skills concentrated in designing the processes and systems in the first place.

We recognise however that even in broadly systematic programs, clients expect an "intelligent hand at the wheel", and our 28-years' experience in currency management, allied with an ongoing focus on research, allows us to provide that.
